What We Do
We at Irvin’s Bay have been helping our customers to escape the hustle bustle of everyday life and their busy work schedules since 2004, under the name Sunshine Sabbaticals. Offering adventure breaks, wedding planning, reef tours, day excursions, carnivals trips and beach parties throughout the Caribbean. In recent years we have been actively expanding our activities to include private island Glamping and camping tours.
As the years passed, we have grown our operation into various categories to include yachting tours, sea canoeing, sea kayaking, surf boarding, hiking, picnics, barbecue beach parties, and various fishing trips.
We are ready and waiting to welcome you on this journey to immerse yourself with the wonders of what nature have to offer, wake the senses, evolve the emotions and to appreciate how great life can be.

We hire our local guides carefully and provide the necessary training, support and mentoring so that they have the necessary skills to be professional and bring warmth, care and energy with an eagerness to share the local knowledge with you throughout your journey.
RESPECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT
Irvin’s Bay is very committed to sustainable and responsible adventure travel. We reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible by utilising fuel-efficient and eco-friendly equipment. Our Glamping and Camp site uses no plastic, only bamboo or wooden utensils and eco tableware. We also adhere to “LEAVE NO TRACE” camping ethics.
RISKS MANAGEMENT
Outdoor expedition and adventures do involve inherent risks and we at Irvin’s Bay have developed risk management practices at all levels of our company to ensure our guests health, well-being and peace of mind. We invest significant resources in training and equipment should accidents happen on our adventures.

We design adventures to fit your activity levels. Our active adventures range from mellow to the more demanding. Some trips include a variety of multi-sports activities such as hiking, snorkelling, kayaking and zip lining. Each itinerary will describe the activities you are involved with. Hiring local guides play a significant role in the authenticity of our international and national adventures as they provide guests with an inside perspective of the country, islands and locations which we operate. We carefully select our guides to ensure that they enrich your adventure from Irvin’s Bay.
We are investors in the people and culture of the places we do our business and we support those communities in a number of ways. This includes alliances with locally owned establishments, hiring local guides and support staff, visiting and supporting non-profit organisations, buying local supplies and forging friendships that offer support and learning for all and donating a portion of our profits for training.
SUSTAINABILITY
We at Irvin’s Bay are dedicated to to sustainable travel and put into action practices which respect and protects the natural environments within which we operate, including the sociological environment. We also raises awareness of the impact travellers can have on the environment they visit and inspires to become advocates for conservation efforts.
Our practices and ethics are core to protecting and respecting the unique and natural beautiful environment within which we operate. On our private island adventures and other tours we try to minimise our footprint through limiting use of energy, reuse and recycle and repurpose. We apply these principles from our offices to our field operations.
(1) Our trips are largely human powered, exploring nature by foot, kayak, paddle boards etc. When we travel by motor, we partner with local operators who use the most fuel-efficient vehicles available.
(2) All our Glamping and Camping trips adhere to “LEAVE NO TRACE” procedures to protect the environment within which we operate.
(3) We respect the wilderness which we operate, the wildlife and their habitats on all of our trips, making sure we don’t disrupt them or make them uncomfortable as we witness and observe them.
