ITINERARY

Flights: Virgin Atlantic or British Airways

Day 1
Arrive in Grenada
Fly into Maurice Bishop International Airport to begin your Caribbean adventure. Our representative will be waiting to meet and greet before being taken by private shuttle to your hotel for evening.
Accommodation: Silver Sands Hotel

Day 2
After breakfast, you will be venturing out to explore the wonderful St Georges Market in Market Square, one of the most colourful and amazing places to visit when in Grenada, to take an interest in there world renown spices like nutmeg, saffron, ginger , clove and all sorts of succulent exotic fruits.

We then explore the Carenage to get a feel for the local culture and experience day to day living. Some of the best restaurants and street food vendors are located here including bars and shops, you can observe cruise ships and boats dock whilst enjoying a delightful meal.

Next take a trip to explore Fort George, French colonists constructed this building in 1666. The capital of the island was a city called St Louis, which was flooded and they created the new town below Fort Royal. When the island was ceded to the British, they renamed it St Georges and Fort Royal was renamed Fort George.

We then visit the House of Chocolate located on Young Street, St Georges. House of Chocolate have a very long history of making beautiful chocolate in Grenada. It’s also museum and there is a shop for purchase so you can stock up till your heart’s content. You can get samples and the shop sells all sorts of sweets and drinks. We then return to your hotel to relax before dinner.

Day 3
Depart mainland Grenada for Sandy Island by catamaran to begin your Glamping adventure. On arrival you will be welcome by your camp guide with our favourite rum punch being taken to your fully furnished Bell Tent where you can choose to relax and enjoy the sunset and tranquil views, relish the freshly prepared food, or indulge in a bit of wildlife spotting.

Day 4
After breakfast, you can just relax by the beach before getting fitted for your snorkelling gear to explore the reefs to observe and experience the marine world in total comfort. See hundreds of fishes sea stars under water flors and fauna before taking a break for lunch and refreshments. Then be ready for canoeing and other activities, swimming, paddle boarding and the like.

Day 5
After waking up to the sound of birds, be ready for breakfast before settling for kayaking expeditions along the coastline. After returning for lunch, you can take part in various activities planned with your guides or just relax and reflect. Dinner well be served before social interactions with music, games etc.

Day 6
You can enjoy the beautiful morning with a sunrise swim or just walk along the beach looking for unique shells before delightful breakfast then be ready for your fishing trip. On return, your chef will prepare a tasty fish broth followed by barbecue seafood platter. Activities on the day include paddle boarding, canoeing to Green Island for exploration the landscape and picnic on the beach, before returning for some kite surfing, more snorkelling, followed by dinner before settling down.

Day 7
After enjoying a delightful breakfast, we generally chill before being picked up by our catamaran yacht and return to mainland St Georges and back to the hotel.

Day 8
You will be picked up in the morning by shuttle to spend the day generally sightseeing and exploring the north of Grenada. First stop will be the rum distillery in River Antoine Estate. This rum distillery is the oldest on the island with a 250 year old equipment and history. The 1 hour tour includes tastings. We then move on to Levera Bay for swim relaxing and picnic followed by a visit to Bath Way Beach next door. We then return back to the hotel.

Day 9
Visit the Grand Etang National Park approximately 1,740 feet above sea level. The location is high up the mountain in the central region encompassing a 30 acre crater lake, the remains of a once active volcano. There are miles of hiking trail to explore. There is a visitors centre and Museum where you can learn about the park’s history. Hikes range from 20 minutes to four hours depending on fitness and stamina.

The area is teeming with exotic wildlife like Mona Monkeys, Hummingbirds, Red Necked Pigeons and Doves. The Seven Sisters Trail passes throughout seven of Gran Etang striking waterfalls where you can have a dip and enjoy the chilled mountain water.

Next up is to explore Concord Falls, located on the edge of Grand Ethang Forest Reserve. This is a series of three separate dazzling waterfalls, collectively known as Concord Falls. These are some of the most exciting trails in Grenada for exploring. The next waterfall is called Au Coin followed by Fontainebleau, which is further on the track.

Day 10
This is the last day on the island. Breakfast will be followed by a trip to Grand Anse Beach. Grand Anse is located on the southwestern coast of Grenada close to the capital St Georges. This world renown and iconic 2 mile stretch of pristine white sandy beach is on the Caribbean Sea, full of coconut palm and sea grape trees. There is plenty of small bars dotted along the beachfront, most of which open early.
Everything from parasailing, scuba-diving, waterskiing and sailing are all activities that can be explored.

Return to hotel for transfer to airport for evening flight back to your home destination.
